Reading Ambassadors

The reading ambassadors work closely with Miss Farmer across KS1 and KS2. They have discussed the tests we use to support the teaching of reading and writing at MPS and have monitored books, working walls and have spoken to children about their learning. They have been asking the children about the reading skills and the books that they enjoy reading. The reading ambassadors also support EYFS with reading for pleasure and have weekly reading sessions to promote reading for pleasure. The children have helped to ensure that not just reading, but reading for pleasure is a high priority at MPS. They really are helping the other children to foster a LOVE of reading.
