Aims

Music enables children to explore their thoughts and feelings through the handling and manipulation of sounds via the voice or other tuned or non- tuned musical instruments. In doing this, children can explore a deep history of music and relate musical experiences to the world around them. This will enrich other subject areas. Our aim at Marlborough Junior School is to provide stimulating opportunities involving a wide range of musical genres and the use of a variety of instruments, so that the children may appreciate and enjoy their own work and the work of others.
